Small Group Leader Information 

  • To hear His heart (Discipleship) by creating opportunities for people to go deeper in their relationship with God, show His love (Fellowship) by creating opportunities for people to build community with others, and see His kingdom (Ownership) through creating opportunities for people to see God at work in their world.

  • ● Have a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ (for at least two years preferably)

    ● Recognize the Bible as the authority for your life

    ● Be a member of the church / Complete Growth Track

    ● Have the time, emotional capacity, and moral discernment to lead a group

    ● Be approved by Church Leadership

    ● Faithfully serve as a member of the Home Team in another area prior to small group leadership.

  • ● Attend and complete Initial Small Group Leader Training

    ● Commit to attending quarterly Small Group Leader Meetings

    ● Recognize the influence associated with Small Group leadership

    ● Commit to protecting the unity of the church

    ● Commit to submitting to the authority of church leadership

    ● Commit to engage in leadership development opportunities provided by the church

    ● Lead the group by facilitating the group meeting, monitoring its health and duration, and promoting participation among group members
