KidCity is hosting a Drive-in Movie Day to kick off the spring season! This event is for Pre-K through 5th grade. Doors open for check-in beginning at 9:30am in the Worship Center and the event begins at 10am. Kids will be designated into groups throughout campus and will be creating their very own “cars” out of fresh cardboard boxes (supplied by RCOG). Kids will get to decorate their cars with their own license plates and a variety of other craft supplies. Lunch will be supplied by Chick-fil-A and snacks will be provided as well. After the cars are completed, kids will enjoy a movie on the Worship Center LED wall. The selection is Secret Life of Pets (2016). Pick-up will begin at 1:30pm.

Cost is $15 per child. Max of $30 per family.

Financial Peace University (FPU) is a personal finance course that is based on biblical money principles and teaches you how to budget, save, and invest! Anyone can take the course, regardless of their income or past financial situation. The goal of this course is to help you get control of your money and make decisions that’ll help you reach your short term and long term financial goals. 

Our treasurer and certified CPA, Brad Johnson, will be facilitating this course on Sundays at 11 AM in the Growth Track Room, starting March 23, 2025.

The cost for this course is $80 which includes all video access, as well as a physical workbook. *If you are registering as a couple, only one registration is needed.

We love investing in those who have a platform at RCOG. This SPEAK Teacher Training Day is opened to all Staff, Leadership, Small Group Leaders, and specifically those who speak in a leadership capacity across KidCity, Young Adults, and Youth departments here at RCOG. We have purchased access to sessions and seminars via Passion City Church in Atlanta featuring some of the worlds best preachers and speakers, and we can’t wait for you to view them with us. We will have three sessions to help equip you and train you to be the best speaker you can be, whether it’s to a room full of people or a small group of only a few.

We will have a Revive Wednesday on March 5th at 7pm in the Worship Center. We have a great worship set planned, and we will also be hearing a message from guest speaker LaVon Phillips. All classes will be cancelled this night, but nursery, as well as 3-5 year olds will have groups provided. Make plans to be a part of this great night of worship and the Word!

Welcome to our new Quarterly Prayer Meetings, taking place once seasonally as a corporate body on Monday evenings. Join us from 6:30-7:30 for a time of prayer in the Worship Center as we intercede for needs of our church, staff, and our world specifically as this spring season begins.

Note: Our Quarterly Prayer Nights are officially replacing First Monday Prayer (formerly every first Monday of the month).

We will have our annual church member’s business meeting to discuss our yearly financials on Sunday, February 23rd at 6PM in the Worship Center. All church members are eligible to vote and are invited to attend.

We will have a Night of Worship to conclude our 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer on Sunday night, January 26th at 6pm in the Worship Center. We have a great worship set planned, and we will also have a time of food and fellowship directly after in the Family Life Center. Bring a food you’ve missed during the fast to share with everyone!

We will be hosting Water Baptism on Sunday, January 26th during all three services. If you or someone in your family would like to make a public declaration of your faith, register here. Participants must be second grade and up. All elementary participants must take place during the 11am service.

Every year, we celebrate the the season with a Christmas Night of Worship. Join us as we gather together for a great night of praise and worship, candlelight, and fellowship as we celebrate Jesus this holiday season. Nursery will be provided.

Campus is PARTY CENTRAL this Wednesday night with our Merry and Bright Party Night! Join us as all ministries across campus will be hosting their individual Christmas Parties!

The adults will be gathering in the Worship Center and Worship Center Foyer for games and refreshments (bring an appetizer to share).

The YM will be hosting their party in the Youth Room in the FLC.

KidCity will be having a PJ Movie Night in both the PreK-5 Wing as well as the KidCity Clubhouse for 1st-5th graders. Kids should wear their PJs, bring a pillow or blanket. Popcorn and hot chocolate will be provided!

Herry King Live has been renewed for a second season! Last year, we had the pleasure of interviewing a variety of animals that were present when Jesus was in the manger. This year, we have a variety of actual people, both completely normal and out of this world, that played a big role in the Christmas story; but they may not be who you'd initially think of. We have some stellar music, first-class dance numbers, great show sponsors, and some very special guests. Get ready for Herry King Live Season 2!

Our annual Thanksgiving Night of Worship will be on Wednesday, November 20th starting at 7pm on campus. Join us for a time of music, communion, and testimonies. You won’t want to miss this!

All families are asked to bring a crock pot of soup or chili. Make sure to bring a lawn chair and wear your favorite flannel! Our KidCity Love Your City Project for the fall takes place on Halloween Night (Thursday, Oct. 31st!). Your kids have the opportunity to be a part of handing out 1,000 personal invitations to church all over Effingham County! View the INFO CARD HERE.

Each kid will be taking home a "Mega Bag" filled with 10 individual invitation packets that have info about KidCity, a full size candy, and a miniature Jesus figurine. They will get these bags on either Sunday, October 27th or Wednesday, October 30th. We will also be doing a ‘Be The Light’ Rally with the kids on Wednesday Oct. 30th to hand out the final bags to kids who haven’t gotten them, do a coordinating lesson, praying over the bags one final time, and ending with a pizza and movie party!

All bags should be handed out on Halloween night, Thursday, Oct. 31st. You can walk your neighborhood and hand them out, or you can hand them out from your door. We’re not asking you to dress up. In fact, if you’d like to wear one of your RCOG t-shirts, that would be excellent!

On a day that is filled with darkness, you have the opportunity to be the light!

Sunday, September 29th is World Missions Sunday! We will have a special guest speaker, Phyllis Wozniak, who is one of the missionaries that we support in Peru and Colombia. Join us in either the 9AM or the 11AM service to see all that God is doing in the lives of his people all over the world!

Abundant Life Church is hosting a Fall Revival on Friday Night, September 27th at 7pm on their campus. Pastor Les has been asked to be the guest speaker, and our worship team will be doing the praise and worship that night. Come out and support, and enjoy a great night of worship and the word.

Fellas! We’re hosting a Man Church event on Saturday, August 24th. Starting at 5pm, we will have a meal in the Family Life Center. Bring you favorite tailgate food to share. Drinks and desserts are on the house. The main event starts at 6pm in the Worship Center. Guest speaker Lance Ingram will be present. Admission is free. Bring your friends and make plans to attend!

Family Ministries Night is back in full swing for the fall! Tonight, the fun kicks back up! Everything happens Wednesday at 7pm here on campus, and we’ve got something for everyone. There are groups for adults, kids, teens, nursery and more! Find your community here at RCOG. We’re better together!
