Preparing the next generation of world changers.

KIDCITY: 1st - 5th

Our KidCity 1st-5th grade group is where kids can have fun, make friends, and find a place to belong. Your older children will experience a time of worship and a message designed specifically for their age group. Games, crafts, snacks and more are all part of the day! Here in KidCity, our number one goal is for faith to meet fun!

Checking-in/OUT:

All children are required to be checked in by a volunteer via our Planning Center Online system. This will produce a sticker for the child to wear, as well as a checkout sticker for parents to keep and turn in at time of checkout. Should you lose your checkout tag, you will be required to show I.D. in place of the checkout sticker. Only those who are 16 and up and listed on the account will be permitted to pick up the child if a checkout sticker is not present.

When checking in for the first time, you will be asked a variety of questions and will need to provide your name, phone number, and indications of special needs or allergies of which our staff may need to be aware.

  • Our nursery and children’s volunteers strive to provide a clean, healthy, and nurturing environment for your children. In an effort to ensure that your child’s experience is happy and healthy, we encourage parents to make sure that their child falls within the standards of health that we have established, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In order to prevent the spread of illness, and to provide a safe, healthy environment for all our children and volunteers, we ask that you keep your child home any time he or she exhibits the following symptoms during the 24 hours prior to coming to church:

Fever within the past 24 hours • Vomiting (2 or more times) or experiencing diarrhea in the past 24 hours • Runny nose with any colored discharge (yellowish or greenish) • Streptococcal pharyngitis (strep throat) until 24 hours after treatment has been initiated • Any unexplained rash • Skin infections such as impetigo until deemed noninfectious by your physician • Drainage or redness that could possibly be considered conjunctivitis (“pink eye”) at this time or if diagnosed and prescribed medication within past 24 hours • Mouth sores associated with drooling unless deemed noninfectious by your physician • Head lice and/or nits

Our KidCity Series for May '24

Our KidCity Series for May '24

Astronaut Neil Armstrong once said landing on the moon was “one small step for man.” The biggest adventures start in such a simple way — especially when it comes to space! Asteroids, distant planets, and brand new galaxies await us once we leave earth’s atmosphere. Being the first to explore such uncharted territory can be intimidating. In this four-week series, we’ll take a look at the Book of Acts to learn from the first Christians. Through their stories of faith and bravery, kids will learn how to take the first step of believing in Jesus, the next step of praying for others, and an even bigger step of trusting the Holy Spirit makes us brave; but they won’t want to skip the last step of telling others about Jesus.
